Partial Solar Eclipse  This occurs only on a New Moon, when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon is partially blocked.  In a Total Solar Eclipse the Sun is obscured by the Moon, when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, making a Ring of Fire around the Moon. 

In occult terms the partial eclipsing of the moon by the sun is a time of great revelations and transitions.  It is also a portal of openings and closings.  It is an invitation to something new and unknown.  Are you ready for it?

We honour the guru within and without who teach in silence and instruction. We light the lamp in our heart that may ignite the flames in others. We honours the flames in others that we may be led as well.

‘Resting’  Where do you need to take a rest?  When do you need to take a rest?  Are you knowing you need to take a rest and not doing so?  What is taking a rest?  It is ‘hibernating’ time.  It is ‘down’ time.  It is ‘no thinking’ time.  It is ‘no doing’ time.  It is ‘no stressing’ time.  It is ‘resting’ time.  Resting time is a time you take for yourself.  Allocate 15 minutes a day to your own personal ‘down’ time and give yourself the magic of relaxation.  You will feel the difference in all areas of your life.  Try it.

Egyptian Beliefs  The Energy of Now takes us to the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses in the Book of the Dead.  We all make judgements about ourselves and others, whether alive or dead!  Many people are still talking about Joan Rivers after her death and giving their judgements as opinions, beliefs and thought forms. 

In the Book of the Dead when a person dies they are meet by Anubis, who has the head of a Jackal; who takes them to see Osiris.  The Deceases swears s/he has not committed a  list of 42 sins.  Then the Heart of the Deceased is weighed on a scale by the Egyptian Goddess Maat who with her Ostrich feather, is the goddess of Truth and Justice. The Weighing of the Heart Ritual was important in judging the Deceased persons life on earth and deciding his fate in the After Life.  If the scales balanced the Deceased was OK and Anubis would take them to Osiris and they would be OK in the Afterlife.  If the scales did not balance then Ammit, the Devourer will eat them and they would have no Afterlife!  To the Egyptians the Heart housed the Soul. 

What I found most interesting was the belief by the Egyptians that the spoken and written words carry powerful magic.  Is this not what we do every New Moon and Full Moon?  We invoke powerful blessings globally for the world collectively, the universe cosmologically and the individual personally.  The act of speaking is an act of creation.  Action and Speech are one and the same thing to the ancient Egyptians.  How gloriously wonderful.  The Written words when spoke convey the full force of the power and the magic.  I love this Hymn to Osiris in the Book of the Dead:

Beneficent in command and word was Isis, the woman of magical spells, the advocate of her brother. She sought him untiringly, she wandered round and round about this earth in sorrow, and she alighted not without finding him. She made light with her feathers, she created air with her wings, and she uttered the death wail for her brother. She raised up the inactive members of whose heart was still, she drew from him his essence, she made an heir, she reared the child in loneliness, and the place where he was not known, and he grew in strength and stature, and his hand was mighty in the house of Geb. 9 Headed Hydra:  Labour of Hercules  Hercules battles the nine headed monster known as the Hydra.  He uses fire to get him out of his lair; and kills the Hydra.  During the battle anytime Hercules cut off a head two would grow in its place.  Then he remembered the quote he had been given before the assignment. It was:

We rise by kneeling.  We conquer by surrounding.  We gain by giving up. 

He immediately knelt down and raised the Hydra up to the Light; and was able to defeat it by cutting off the Immortal Head of the Hydra; and burying it under a solid rock.  He stood up victorious.  He had Surrender to the light, to the Great Divine.  Through surrendering he had won.  He gained by giving up to the Light.

The Hydra is our darkness, our secret and suppressed feelings, our fears and doubts that lie deep within us. It is our taboos, our issues with sex, money,  power and death. It is what we keep hidden from others and even from ourselves.  It is our negative thoughts, feelings, emotions.  It is unhealthy past attachments, negative interactions with or without others.  It is all personal and earthly and global fundamental darkness.  When we bring them to the light they weaken and dissolve and we are able to identify the ROOT cause of the problem and cut it off. 

In this assignment when Hercules kneels lifting the Hydra up to heaven to the Light, he surrendered to the Divine, the Greater Will, to the Light; and was able to identify the Immortal Head and cut it off.  The Immortal Head of the 9 Headed Hydra represents our core centre AND root of our darkness.  It is where all our core issues live and take home; and feeds all our negativity and fundamental darkness.

Healing the past enables you to move on.  Letting go of what no longer serves you allows you to move foreword in your life.   Facing your fears (Hydras) enables you to have a Spiritual Strategy for your life.

Being Number One   Do you really need to be Number One?  Does the journey to being Number One take you on a journey of competition, jealously, envy and anger with the object of your competition; who may or may not know they are the object of your rage and psychotic behaviour.  Being Number One is a journey you take with yourself and yourself only. When the journey to be Number One affects you in a way that does not support your character and emotions it is really time to change your thinking.  It really is a time to face one of your Hydras.  You cannot force love in relationships.  For me; Being Number One; is taking responsibility for your life, your behaviour, your actions, your words, your thoughts, your emotions, your judgements, your interactions and your need to blaming others for your unhappiness. When you approach your life from a Higher perspective you are more able to allow yourself to be happy where you are without needing negativity to propel you to wickedness.

Beginnings What new thing are you beginning? A new project?  A new business?  A new idea?  A new way of behaving?  Being vegan?  Doing meditations?  Allocating resting time in your busy schedule?  Deciding to face your Hydra?  

What we will be doing in the Workshop

1. We will be working with all the points above. 
2. We will be working with the Eighth Labour of Hercules and understanding the fundamental message within it.  What fundamental darkness or negative emotions do you suffer from or keep hidden from others?  What no longer serves you?  What can you not control?  Letting go what you no longer control and what no longer serves you is not an easy process.  How hard are you finding it?  What are your obstacles and distractions?  What tools, keys and strategies do you use to help you release your core fundamental issues?
3. We will work with the energy of Money.  What is Money?  What is Rainbow Money?
4. We will create a Crystal Vortex as always and bring in some healing for everyone present and for those who have requested healing on my Hands of Light Fan page.  I will share the pictures later so you can feel the healing and energy of this wonderful portal. 
5. We will be working with this energy at the New Moon Circle Gathering Workshop. Walking your Sacred Path with this New Moon in Scorpio is truly a challenging time that asks you go to deep within to master your emotions at a higher level than ever before.  Are you ready to do this?
