Happy New Moon in Scorpio (Element: Water) 21:51GMT London and Happy Hybrid Total Solar Eclipse 12:47GMT London

Scientific Fact:

A Solar Eclipse occurs with a New Moon.  It occurs when the Moon blocks out the rays of the Sun from the Earth, (the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun).  When the Moon covers the Sun completely is a a Total Solar Eclipse.  When the Moon covers the Sun (with the Moon smaller than the Sun); forming a Ring of Fire, we have the Annular Solar Eclipse.  When the Moon covers the Sun and creates both a Total Solar Eclipse and an Annular Solar Eclipse we have a HYBRID (Annular-Total or A-T). A Hybrid Solar Eclipse is a combination of an Annular Solar Eclipse and a Total Solar Eclipse.  This Total Solar Eclipse is a HYBRID because part of it is Annular and part of it is Total! It will start as an Annular Eclipse and transition into a Total Eclipse. This is due to the curve of the earth’s surface. How marvellous and rare.

Hybrid Solar Eclipse

Energetic Effect of the Hybrid Total Solar Eclipse

What magic will unfold during this time for you?  Remember the effect of an eclipse if felt long before and long after it has happened. There will be a flash of light in the sky, there will be a Ring of Fire in the sky, and there will be transitions and transmissions in your energy frequency.  Receive it well.  We are told the Total Eclipse over Somalia will look like a Diamond Tiara!  How auspicious. 

In our mediation we will be linking in with Chiron and healing our wounded souls, as we are all wounded healers.  As we heal ourselves we heal each other and as we heal each other we heal ourselves.  The interaction between the two energies is what this New Moon is all about.

Chiron, son of Zeus, is a Centaur, half man and half horse.  He is immortal and a wise teacher, teaching music, maths, astronomy, medicine and the art of war to the Sons and Daughters of the Gods on Mount Olympus.  He is a WISE magician, healer and ORACLE who could not heal himself when one of Hercules’ poison arrows embedded in his thighs. He exchanged places with Prometheus who was chained to a rock because he stole fire from the gods and gave to humanity.  As a result Chiron became human and died from his pain and was put in the sky as a constellation of Centaurus by the Gods.  Chiron represents the suffering for the collective by the one.  We all have out ‘poison’ to heal and transform and this New Moon in Scorpio brings this to our attention with this Hybrid.  We have the duality here and we have trinity here (the wounded, the healer and the wounder).  We learn that another person’s suffering is our own.  But we wound when we are wounded. We lash out with rage, we attack.  This energy is the animal instinctive side of us.  When Chiron dies, our Ego dies: just like the painting below by Wayne Dalphinis.  We are always pushing ourselves to be better, to excel, to outperform and really we need to stop and be rather than keep forcing or trying to make things happen as we want them.  Sometimes they just do not happen as we want them.  We have to let go and let up to heavens. We learn to accept our strengths and limitations and not negate ourselves but see ourselves as one whole being of light as we process a new rebirth of ourselves with the wonderful energy of now.  Developing self acceptance is a daily process.  Congratulations.

Yes, I hear you.  I listen to your cries of pain, of shouting and of tears.  So much water energy?  So many emotional swings?  Feelings of distrust? Isolation?  Sudden bursts of temper, misunderstandings, suspicions? New Moon in Scorpio with the rare hybrid Solar Eclipse only activates these extreme emotions.  This is a time to transform and transcend these feelings and show more wisdom and graciousness in your life. 

What will you realise with this energy in your life?  How will you control your response to someone wanting to pick a fight?  How will you control your response to feeling distrust with a person?  By taking deep breathes before you respond or say anything.  By slowing down your response rate and calmly walking away.  By not being baited….. By staying calm and still like the surface of a calm lake.  Now that would be glorious to do.

CONSCIOUS LISTENING

This is a time to practice consciously listening to others.  This means you listen  without talking; you listen without thinking about what you are going to say; you listen without waiting to talk as soon as they stop talking.  Listen without judgement and without projecting your thoughts on them. You truly listen with your eyes, your ears, your mind, your body language. You listen mindfully and you are aware you are listening totally to them and not to your mind thinking away. You listen consciously when you listen deeply to what they are saying – their voice, their emotion, and their own body language.  This will promote closeness, and empathy as the person will feel listened to and heard. 

Try it on three different people and see if you notice a difference in the person’s attitude to you and if you notice a difference in your mind set as you consciously listen with awareness and respect. This is very good for when you are not communicating very well with someone and you are having difficulty with that person.  It is also very good for improving business and social life. It will definitely improve the quality of your relationships. SOUL MATE RELATIONSHIPS

This is a strong time to think about love, sex, marriage, romance and calling in your true soul mate.  The emotional upheaval this can give you at this time can be confusing.  You may suddenly have strong uncontrollable sexual urges (Scorpio) and feel a need to release these urges.  Be mindful that the other person is consenting to this need of yours so you do not get consumed by your sexual energy and cause harm to another person, making them a victim by your doing and thereby making them a victim of a victim – because you may have been a victim!

What will be covered in this Meditation Workshop

We will be covering all the above as well as identifying  your sacred vision. We will be anchoring the light into your physical body and allowing it to seed and illuminating an angelic frequency within you.  We will be confronting a shadow aspect of yourself and releasing it into the light.  It is time for you to create your future not your shadow.  Remember you cannot just be courageous or brave in an instant – you have to actually act courageous and brave to know that you have courage and that you are brave and have bravery within.  This search for integration within is what this meditation eclipse and new moon is about. Certain truth are difficult to handle consciously so we handle them in meditation, in sleep and in dream time.  This makes the healing more transparent and more wholesome; allowing you your unique integral process that is yours alone.  Call in your dreams and visions.

2. List the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey.
3. Dress up and go out wearing something nice and sexy – even if it is just going shopping in Sainsburys.
4. Which of these are a major obstacle to your relationship?  The refusal to talk, the refusal to accept the other as another or the refusal to be alone?
5. What would you call yourself?  The Perfectionist, the Giver, the Performer, the Romantic, the Observer, the Questioner, the Epicure, the Boss or the Mediator?
6. Celebrate the creative energy of your voice and invoke your blessings.  Read the Invocation Blessing aloud to yourself and feel it.
