ENERGY OF NOW

Happy New Moon in Virgo  (Element: Earth)

Celestial Energy and Solar Energy: A lot of Celestial Energy has been coming down to earth in the past few years, let alone this year and last month!  The Sun is such a powerful vortex of light and action.

Benefits of Solar Energy on Mother Earth & Humans: The human skin gets VITAMIN D from the sunlight. We need to ‘eat’ the sun in our skins, melanin and pigments.  Sunlight is a key factor in photosynthesis, used by plants and other autotrophic organisms to convert light energy from the sun (solar energy) into chemical energy; which produces food, wood and the biomass from which fossil fuels are derived. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_radiation

Scientists tell us  it takes 8.3 minutes for sunlight to reach the earth; and it takes energy 10,000-170,000 years to leave the sun’s interior and then be emitted from the surface as light. Direct sunlight has a luminous efficacy. Bright sunlight produces illuminance of approx. 100,000 lux or lumens per sq m at the Earths Surface.  Sunlight is a portion of the electromagnetic radiation (infrared, visible, ultraviolet light) given off by the sun. On planet Earth, (Mother Gaia), sunlight is filtered through the earth’s atmosphere. About 30% is reflected back to space while the rest is absorbed by clouds, oceans and land masses. This activity causes various cycles of movement (atmospheric circulation or convention). One cycle is the water cycle which causes rain, clouds, vapour condensation. Going for Supervision: Recently I have been working with deep unhappiness and deep sadness with my clients; which has required me to go for supervision! First time in my life.  I am amazed at the quick results of supervision and going for my own individual sessions with my practitioner.  I realise how invaluable my work is and the positive effects it has on people.  It has made me realise how great a practitioner I am and how I work.  This is not to sound arrogant but to state a fact.  New Moon in Virgo is about facts.  It is about always ‘refining’ ourselves, doing self-reflection and being an catalyst in your own life.  It is taking practical action with you walking your path and heading to where you want to go to.

Self-Talk: Negative and Positive:  We all have a running commentary in our minds, our brain; telling us we are good or bad. These thoughts take up a lot of energy which can be empowering or disempowering. We find that these self-talk stem from the way we were brought up, our family, friends, society, environment, etc. 

Negative Self Talk: I Can’t Live with Myself.  This type of negative self-talk stems from deep unhappiness and sadness and lack of self worth and self value.  It can be destructive and depressing and difficult to get out of the hole you have dug for yourself or you have allowed another person to dig for you – and you have jumped in or been pushed in!!!  These negative thoughts never seem to stop and are always dictating to you and telling you not to trust what a person is saying; making you feel suspicious, and distrusting.

You are not happy.  You are living in a state of  Relative Happiness; which is dependant on the circumstances around you and it is short lived. For example your throw a tantrum like a child or baby if you do not get what you want or people do not do what you want. Once they do what you want you are happy: again this is short-lived!  Always your self talk is negative and powerless e.g. They do not love me.  I can’t live with myself.  They are laughing at me. 

Prison in your Life: Through your pain and negative self talk New Moon in Virgo lets you know the ‘prison’ you are in in your life, your home and your work.  You may feel disempowered or empowered in your ‘prison’  depending on how you are feeling, acting or thinking.  You may feel empowered if you kill a bird or hit a person.  You may feel disempowered if you are hit or abandoned.  Your mind has become your ‘prison’. This is how the mind turns into a torture instrument, a torture chamber.  You torture yourself and you torture others!  You may realise that your past and future is a thought in your head that could be living in you and replaying itself in a negative way……  Living in the past and future is not living in the now of the energy of New Moon in Virgo.

Seeking Help: You suddenly realise You are deeply unstable and chaotic. The state of your mind is fragile at this time and you will need support and help; as not always, will a conversation with ‘friends’ of ‘family’ help.  Knowing when to go for help is a smart thing to know and to do.  It means you are determined to get better and improve yourself because you now realise that the voices in your head are not always helpful, supportive or life supporting.

Positive Self Talk:  I Love Myself.  When we have positive affirmations, feelings of love and empathy in our minds and our behaviour; we love ourselves and everyone.  This type of happiness is absolute happiness NOT relative happiness.  Absolute Happiness is not dependant on circumstances or the environment like Relative Happiness mentioned above.  You are happy no matter the chaos around you: you feel deeply happy and centred; and you see hope in making effort to achieve what you want.  You believe there is a golden opportunity somewhere.  You do not give up on yourself.  You feel calm, centred and happy; even in the midst of your sadness or the circumstances around you.  This is because your positive self talk is supportive, inclusive and life affirming. 

Buddhist Philosophy:  Be the Master of Your Mind.  Do not let your mind master you.  Be mindful.  Be aware.  Practice Mindfulness. Practice Awareness. Be Conscious. Be Aware.  Be Mindful.  Live in your moment of NOW.  I call it living in your moment of the NEW NOW.  Buddhists talk about transcending illusion, Maya, and fundamental darkness that cause great unhappiness. They do this with meditation and chants like Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.  It teaches about the law of karma and that we have 3,000 possibilities in a single moment of time i.e. a second. This is why karma is such a difficult subject to discuss and understand for many.  Why did this happen to me?  What does this happen to good people?  Why…..? How could…….? What does this mean? 

Making Ripples: Buddhists recognise that a thought is like a ripple in an ocean.  You are not your thought.  Right now you are the manifestation of all your past actions, words and thoughts.  Right now you can change your mind set to take action in your now to create positive results in your future. The choice, as always, is yours.  Remember a ripple does not last long in an ocean.  So you are not your thoughts.  Your thoughts are not you and you are not your thoughts.

Practical Active Actions: New Moon in Virgo forces you to look at the practical application of your thoughts in a positive empowering way for your life.  Use your mind to help you. e.g. You suddenly become aware of your ‘issues’ and the changes you need to let happen.  You need to step out of your way of thinking with this New Moon meditation to activate a new sense of aliveness and living in your own life!!!  A practical new action would be to visit another person when they are feeling down.  To help a person who collapses on the floor.

Breaking Out of the ‘Prison’: New Moon in Virgo mediation suddenly brings a break, an illumination, an insight, a transformation, a portal of change and transformation in one instant.  Your introspection and inner reflection needs an outlet and there is a sudden change in insight and action e.g. you remove your future of pain from you, with your insight; and you create a now of positive creation.  .  What pure truth do you need to live with your thinking, doing and feeling?

SADNESS of Leonardo Da Vinci

I am saddened to learn at Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition(Queens Gallery, Edinburgh), that his anatomical work on the human body was never published before he died! I felt his sadness.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonardo_da_Vinci   Leonardo was known as a famous painter.  He dissected over 30 copses to create his great work.  It was published over 100 years later!

DETAIL   Virgo is an earth sign making it practical.  Virgo can be forthright, precise, executing and flawless. It is time to make details – write out what needs to be done and do it immediately.  What details need to be carried out before anything can be achieved.  Virgo loves details and attention to detail in all areas of live – food, health, mind, body, spirit, etc.  Be flawless like Leonardo.  Have a great work ethics like Leonardo. 

LIVE  New Moon in Virgo says do not die before you publish what is in you.  Do not let your brilliance ‘die’ when you ‘die’.  Let your brilliance live on in the work that you do. What practical action do you need to take to start or complete something?  Do you need to teach, write a book, publish your thesis, learn to swim?  Seed a new beginning for yourself with this new energy.

What is new today?  Whose budding talent do we celebrate?  Today I am choosing to share Aaron’s music with you because I love his innate human kindness, which I have personally experienced with the energy of the New Moon in Virgo. 

What did Aaron Sosa Lewis do? When I went weak at Sainsbury and fell to the floor; he was the only person who knelt down by me, put his face by my face and talked to me and when I was stronger held my hand and picked me up. He stayed with me till I got stronger; taking care of me like a son would: holding my hand, supporting my weak body and guiding me as I walked!  While I sat on the chair he went off to put my shopping through the till, called me a taxi and when I was stronger walked me to the car park to pay £15 for my car valet service. Thank you Aaron Sosa Lewis. 

I was too dizzy to drive the car; and the manager, Albert Oyenusi, organised I pick it up on Friday, after the New Moon, at no cost to me.  Thank you Albert Oyenusi.

Energy of 3:  I notice every time just before the New Moon in Virgo an energy of 3 comes through for me.  Have you noticed that for yourself? Three people do something for me.  I meet up with three people.  Three similar things happen in one day.  In Sainsbury’s I had 3 people taking care of me: Patsy, Albert and Aaron.  Angelic Virgins came to my rescue in the form of two lovely men and a lady! I am calling them the 3 Angelic Virgins sent to help me via the Celestial Realm on practical Earth.  Thank you Celestial Angels of Protection.

Kindness:  New Moon in Virgo asks: What practical kindness are you going to carry out to a stranger you do not know or have never seen before?  Seek perfection in kindness.  Remember all 3 people did everything in their power to make me feel safe, secure and better.  All actions were practical and results orientated. This is the kind of kindness Virgo oozes.  Ooze with kindness to 3 people by taking practical action to help another person get better and make them happy. Visit your neighbour and check on an elder.

PERFECTION   Virgo is the sacred Virgin, pure, innocent, feminine and beautiful.  The Virgin Virgo seeks perfection in everything s/he does.  Virgo is sensitive, sensible, cheerful, patient, calm and neat.  Virgo is kind.  Virgo works diligently to achieve perfection and precision in all s/he does.

6. Do 3 new practical actions that make you happy and feel your life.
